A very warm welcome to the 2011 season.

Dear members
The 2010 season was a great success, particularly our evening sail which was very well attended. The membership have requested we have two evening sails this season, details of these shall be placed on both the website and the notice board within the clubhouse.

Once again, GRMBC will be hosting the Annual Scottish Tug-in. Public at the clubThis was a very successful event last season, which we hope to repeat again this year.

The End of Season Show, will again, be a charity event, with all proeceds going to local charities.

There will also be our regular "Wee Nip" events throughout the season.

The Committee would once more, like to thank the membership for the support they have shown in the organisation and setting up of club events throughout the last season, the effort shown by you all, proves the dedication and commitment to the club by the membership as a whole, it can only bode well for the future of the club.

We have some exciting news for our members concerning the planned repairs,
to our clubhouse.

After exhaustive negotiations with the relevant agencies, we hope to secure funding for the roof repairs shortly. This will, of coarse, result in a certain amount of upheaval within the club. We hope to keep any disruption to a minimum and the overallRonnie with Nip running of the club will hopefully, continue as normal as possible.

The committee will, of course, keep you all informed of any progress, as it becomes available.

We must all give our warmest thanks to our Treasurer, Ronnie Morlan, for the time, effort and unstinting dedication he has given in this matter.

The proposed works will extend the life of our present clubhouse,
for the forseeable future.

May we take this opportunity to wish you all, "Fair Winds and Happy Sailing "
in the forth coming season.

Kindest Regards to you all.

The Committee.
Glasgow Richmond Model Boat Club.
